A-England Tristam!

Hi guys! Today I'm going to show you another A-England polish.
This is Tristam from last years Mythicals collection. Tristam is pretty much the blue version of Lady of The Lake, however it's holographic effect is more scattered. I needed two coats for full opacity and it applied lovely like all A-Englands.
I've included a blurry photo to show off the prismatic effect a bit better.

A-England polishes can be purchased from Llarowe or directly from A-England.co.uk

Urban Decay Smoked Palette: Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I wanted to show you the new Urban Decay Smoked Palette that was released a few weeks ago. It is currently available on the Urban Decay website if you live in the U.S. If, like me, Urban Decay don't ship to your country you can find this palette on eBay but it is for a higher price.

The Smoked Palette is Urban Decays response to the success of the Naked Palettes, "The biggest thing since Naked". It retails for $49 in the US and comes with ten eyeshadows, a mini primer potion, fullsize 24/7 liner in Perversion and a booklet with a bunch of different looks you can achieve with this palette.

*Photo by Temptalia* - I couldn't for the life of me geta half decent photo of the outside packaging sorrry!

See closeups, swatches & Review after the jump!

OPI DS Temptation

Hi guys! Today I thought I'd dig out a polish from last years OPI Designer Series release. This is Temptation, a purple glitter! It also has a lot of pink and blue glitters mixed in. I used three coats for full opacity!
This is actually a lot more purple than it looks in my photos.
I do think this is a nice polish but not worth the DS price tag, and they've done it again with this years DS release, polishes that 1. We already have dupes for and 2. Are just shimmery shades, what happened to the holos OPI :(

Nubar Reclaim!

Hi guys! It was nice and sunny today so I decided to put on Nubar Reclaim from their Going Green Collection. Reclaim is a linear green holo! I used two coats for full opacity and it applied easily.

A-England Merlin!

Hi guys! Today I'm showing you another A-England polish that I got in their sale a few weeks back. This one is called Merlin.
Merlin is a silver glitter, if you look really closely the glitter pieces are actually irregular little shapes, rather than normal round square or hex glitters which is really cool but you can't really tell in the scheme of things.
Merlin applied very well coating the nail evenly in glitter. I used three coats here, but you could do two depending on how thick you apply it. It also dried to a suprisingly smooth texture, I only needed one coat of China Glaze Fast Forward and it was smooth. One thing I did notice when applying this though was that it had a very strong smell, something I've never noticed with any other A-Englands so I'm putting it down to the glitter.

It's so shiny!

CND Anchor Blue

Hi guys! Today I wanna show you a polish I own by CND (creative nail design). This is called Anchor Blue and is part of their Color & Effects line. Anchor Blue is considered one of their Primary colours.
Anchor Blue is a medium blue creme, plain and simple true blue. It has a fantastic formula! I only did one coat here, and it pretty much applied itself. However, I think the colour is a bit blah, I don't know, I tend to only like really light blues or dark blues, or something with a lot of deapth. Nice none the less.

Essie Mojito Madness!

Hi guys! Today I have another polish from Essie's Bikini So Teeny collection. This is Mojito Madness, it's a bright mid tone green that is completely unique in my collection. It may be similar to the green released in China Glaze ElectroPop collection however.
Mojito Madness applied lovely and was opaque in two coats, I think the formula was a little runny, but still manageable.

mmmm mojitos!

Zoya Rory

Hi guys, today I'm showing you Zoya Rory. This polish came out in Zoya's spring Surf line. Rory is a cool toned pink with dense silver shimmer and a frost finish. The formula is on the thicker side but it is opaque. I don't have much more to say about this colour, it's pretty, not something I'd really wanna wear though.

A-England Galahad!

Hi guys! Today I'm showing you a stunning polish from the indie brand A-England. A few weeks back they were having a sale on all the polishes from last years Mythicals collection. I decided to pick up three for only five pounds each and Free shipping!
Galahad is a stunning teal shade. It's relitively light compared to the teals we've seen lately like China Glaze Exotic Encounters, but it still has a bit of dustyness to it. Galahad applied beautifully! Two coats for perfect even coverage with no streaks. Formula was neither thick nor thin.
Most of us get so caught up in oggoling over A-Englands holographics we forget about the stunning cremes.
This is completely unique in my collection, however, I do not own OPI Fly which I THINK might be similar.

Essie Bikini So Teeny

Hi guys! Today I'm wearing an Essie Polish from their Bikini So Teeny Summer collection. This light periwinkle is the namesake, Bikini So Teeny. It's a little bit lighter than Essie's Lapis of Luxury. In the bottle it also has some pink, blue and silver shimmer but it does not show up on the nail what so ever.
Bikini So Teeny applied well and was opaque in two coats.
I was in a bit of a rush when painting my nails so that's why I didn't do the best cleanup job (hello running my nail across my cuticles in attempt to remove wet polish).

Sugarpill Burning Heart Palette: Swatches, Eye Look & Watermarble Inspired By.

Hi guys, This will be a fairly long post today showcasing my Sugar Pill Burning Heart Palette!
One of my bestfriends and I were going clubbing for the night so I decided to really go all out with my eyeshadows and Sugarpill Burning Heart was just the way to do it!

I only wear lashes on the outer halves of my eyes because it's the only way they ever last.
I swear they didn't look as crap in real life lol

Keep Reading for Close ups, Swatches & Review as well as a Water Marble inspired by this palette!

Essie Mint Candy Apple

Sorry guys, long time no blog! As usual real life gets in the way of nail polish lol but rest assured I do have some good posts coming up!
Today I'm wearing Essie Mint Candy Apple. This is a super light mint green colour that came out a few years back. This is my favourite mint! It's opaque in two thick coats, and not streaky unless you don't have enough on the brush.
I love this colour!
Sorry about the shitty photo, I had to take it while walking through my work car park trying to avoid looking like a crazy lady taking pictures of her hands lol!

Zoya Rica

Hi guys! Today I'm wearing Zoya Rica from their Sunshine collection a few years ago.
This polish is suprisingly super flattering on me in real life! I really love it. It's a pinky coral base with a TON of gold glassfleck shimmer Zoya is famous for which makes the over all colour of the polish appear much more orange than the base really is.
This is three easy coats.

OPI Holiday Glow

Hi guys!
Today I'm showing you a polish from an old OPI Holiday collection in 2008 I believe. It is called Holiday Glow - A deep Warm Brown/Burgandy base with red and gold glitters. It needs 2-3 coats to be completely opaque.

Thanks for Reading!
